The Wilderness Foundation strives to protect and support Africa's increasingly precious wilderness areas through integrated conservation and educational programmes, the benefits of which support cultural, biodiversity, scientific, economic and spiritual values.

Dedicated to promoting the world's last remaining wild areas. It does this through lobbying, education and offering trails with minimum impact on the environment, giving a direct experience of wilderness in Britain and elsewhere. The Foundation supports projects that conserve wilderness and those that use it for a wide range of social programmes, including youth and adult development, rehabilitation, health care and therapy.

The Wild Foundation (USA):

The Call of the Wild:
A seven day trail plus a 3 day workshop allows you to make the most of the wilderness experience. The trail takes you into the depths of nature - including yours - and the workshop deepens the experience, as you explore its personal meaning for you, and internalise the lessons of the trail. Mike Wibberley, a psychotherapist for over twenty years has a passion for exploring wilderness and human nature.

Envision UK:
Through its young visionaries award project, creates a non-prescriptive and supportive framework for young people in schools to take responsibility for issues of sustainability. Sixth form students form teams, which devise and implement a huge diversity of creative and inspirational activities.
