This world heritage site with an impressive, rugged mountain range, rises over 3000 metres and extends along the western edge of the Zulu Kingdom. KwaZulu Natal's major rivers rise in these mountains, which are also home to eagles and vultures, several species of antelope, including the largest, the Eland and other small mammals, as well as countless plant species.
